Most of the car buyers today are looking for varied options that will reduce global warming, hybrid cars are more in to picture than the traditional cars. With the new 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid you can expect a cut in your fuel expenses and also gives you spacious interiors. It is one of the top sought after models in the Hybrid market. It’s a completely redesigned model although much of the features and flaws still remain in the new Prius Hybrid. The main advantage of the new Toyota is its excellent fuel economy advantage with spacious interiors and also a comfortable ride. The cars comes equipped with all the high tech luxury features that you ever wanted in you car. The new Toyota Prius is a third generation model that has been enhanced to give excellent feel while driving the car with conventional interior controls and sleek styled interiors. It gives one of the best fuel economy as compared to the existing number of similar vehicles.

The newly unveiled 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid comes in four different trim level that mostly appeals to Roman sensibilities; the trim models are Prius II, Prius III, Prius IV and Prius V. The Prius one is the base model in the new Hybrid and would be released at a later stage.  The standard features included in the Prius II trim model comes with cruise control, 15 inch alloy wheels, height adjustable driver seat, keyless ignition, full power accessories, steering column, tilt telescoping, auto headlights options, auxiliary audio jack, six speaker stereo with CD player, etc. The Prius III trim model includes facilities like eight speaker-upgraded stereo having six CD changer and a Bluetooth facility. The Prius IV trim version comes with additional facilities like leather upholstery, keyless entry, heated front seats, exterior locking buttons and much of other features.

The Prius V trim level comes with complete set of extra ordinary features that includes fog lamps, LED headlamps with auto leveling, 17 inch alloy wheels, washers and varied other features. The Prius II trim and the other trim levels comes with a Navigation package that is equipped with a voice activated touchscreen navigation system showing you real time traffic, four disc CD changer, back up camera and other features in the new machine. You can add a Solar Roof Package to the Navigation package that includes a sunroof with solar powered ventilation system that helps in cooling down of the car when it is parked. The new Toyota Hybrid is powered by a powerful and advanced gasoline electric hybrid powertrain; it comes with a 1.8 liter four cylinder engine that combines electric motors. The whole system gives the output of 134 horsepower.

Every 2010 Toyota Prius comes standard with antilock disc brakes (the old car had rear drums), stability and traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and a driver knee airbag. Optional equipment includes a pre-collision warning system and a lane-departure warning system. In brake testing, the Prius stopped from 60 mph in a short 118 feet, with less fade than the previous rear-drum-equipped car. The safety features included in the new 2010 Toyota Prius comes with all the standard equipments.
