Well, green cars are not new especially in the American markets but surely the scenario is going to change in the next few years with American markets flooded with various small battery powered electric cars. The variety of options to choose from would include Nissan leaf, Ford Focus EV, NXG, THINK city, megacity, BMW mini E, i-MiEV, Rva and many other dozens of cars under plans. While it is a good new that Chrysler plans to build and engineer pure electric cars that are based on the Fiat 500 platform but the models would be available only full fledged by the year 2012 and 2013.
