Honda is Enjoying Consumer Demands for the CR-Z early in the Year
Only being on sale in Japan for a couple of weeks, Honda’s new CR-Z has already provided the manufacturer with 7,000 consumer orders for the new Hybrid. The anticipation of this small hatchback vehicle was to sell 12,000 units of the CR-Z during production in its first year of being released. This means that they have already sold 60% of what was planned for the entire year. If this amount of CR-Zs continue to sell at this rate, it is likely that Honda will certainly need to vamp up on the production of this car to stay up with the high demands of consumers.
It will be very interesting to watch just how well sales will be of the CR-Z in other markets around the world. One of the concerns that are in the minds of numerous consumers in the United States is even though this vehicle can zoom up to 60 miles per hour in a matter of only 10 seconds time, the fuel economy of the car is not exactly beneficial.
It will also be interesting to see the torch that is featured with the new CR-Z, compared to the performance given in the older CRX models.
